The journey of Globe Hopper began with our founder Vee, who, after years of traveling, decided that everyone deserves the chance to see the world and make memories with their loved ones. This passion began when Vee was in primary school. Following the summer holidays, her teacher would ask all students to write about their holiday experiences. Vee's peers would detail their exciting holidays abroad, but Vee's mom, a single mother, couldn't afford such luxuries despite her hard work.
Feeling embarrassed and inferior, Vee would fabricate stories of exotic trips. Another peer faced a similar situation due to being part of a large family.At the age of 7, Vee vowed to ensure her future children would have real holidays and never feel as she did. True to her promise, Vee has taken her children on holiday every year since they were one year old.
However, Vee's vision extends beyond her family. She believes in making a positive impact on the world. Her efforts include running a mentoring company for children and young people and starting a residential children's home provider company. Vee knows from experience that working together can create brighter futures for the next generation. This is why she allows you to nominate a company, group, or charity to receive 20% of the profits, with the winner drawn at random following the live raffle draw.
After traveling extensively alone and with her children, Vee realised the importance of making lifelong memories through travel. This inspired her to create Globe Hopper Raffles. Six months later, her vision is now a reality.
